I graduated from Long Island University with an undergraduate degree in molecular biology and a graduate degree in microbiology. I served in numerous positions including a full time “assistant research scientist” at NYU Langone Medical Center which resulted in many scientific publications. While serving at NYU Langone medical center served as a biology instructor and chemistry instructor at New York City Technical College since I have passion for teaching. Afterward, I served as a science coordinator and director of global education at Sampson Community college. Currently, I am serving as a director of programs at JCC and I was assigned the role of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Director till the finalization of the project. It was submitted on August 2012 and approved by SACS visiting team on October, 2012. “The QEP describes a carefully designed and focused course of action that addresses a well-defined topic or issue(s) related to enhancing student learning”. I am one of the first faculty to offer a fully online anatomy and physiology courses using connect and science kits. I present on online science education in many major conferences in the USA and Canada with a focus on successful design of learning outcomes and assessment strategies and tools. I am a member of the Curriculum Committee for human anatomy and physiology Society (HAPS).
